The Letter Always Wins

Somehow our several ways to contact a company and complain products (email, toll free numbers, person), the old-fashioned letter still seems to win.

Case in point. This week Smucker's Jam agreed to replace two of my grandmother's Pineapple Jams that she had ordered. She talked them the phone and they apologized the bad packaging. But it was her letter that got her two free replacements.
